My Cartoon Network Shooting Experience

Together with my mother and sister, we went to the CMB Studio and arrived at around 11:30 in the morning. My mother brought with her all my medals and certificates because the director will choose from them the ones I will don during the shooting of the commercial. They also asked my mother to bring two shirts - one yellow and one red - as well as my boy scout uniform, which will all be used for the shooting.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by Miss Aja Totanes of Perceptions Advertising, the firm in charge of promotions of Cartoon Network. Because it was already lunchtime, we asked permission from the staff if we could go out for lunch. But we were requested to stay because there was lunch ready for us in the studio.

After lunch, I was asked to ready myself for the actual shooting. Staff members came over to help me prepare. Somebody was in charge of putting make up on me, checking how I dressed up, and a lot of other things that I experienced for the first time.

We shot different scenes for the commercial. Sometimes, each scene takes two or three shots. The director tells me how I should deliver each line. I also had some bloopers. During the shooting, a staff member asked me if it is more difficult to be an artist or to be a mathematician. I answered being an artist because I have to keep on posing.

I really enjoyed shooting this commercial and this is one experience I will never forget.
