The Mathematics Trainers' Guild Mathematics Olympiad Summer Training Program is now underway for the 2005 MTG Delegation to International Mathematics Competitions in the secondary level. This intensive training program that is held from Mondays to Saturdays is part of the preparation being undertaken by the MTG Kids for the various international mathematics competitions that they are set to join this coming school year.
The 2005 MTG Delegation is composed of eighty nine high school students from all over the country. They have all proven themselves to be the best of the best after various elimination stages, including the final stage, which is the 2005 MTG Young Mathematicians’ In-House Intensive Training Program. This was held in Bacolod City from March 28 to April 1, 2004. It was participated in by around two hundred and fifty national qualifiers.
