Welcome to the new MTG Kids Online!

Ok. That kind of made it redundant. Hehe.

It surely has been a very long time since this site went temporarily offline for reconstruction. I was supposed to have everything done by last month but many things got in the way (read: school) and I've been busy since. Anyway, I managed to squeeze in a few hours here and there just to get this site back up and running as soon as possible, and finally, I was able to do so this week. So sorry goes to you "avid" readers for having you wait for so long. =P

Ok. That would be enough for an introduction. I shall move on to the nitty-gritty and tell you what's in store for this new version of our site:

New Lay-out! This one should be obvious. Something that has always bothered me with the previous set-up was that it did not have a main page, making it somewhat disorganized. Well now it does, and I think I'm proud of what it looks like now, with all the banners and stuff. For better viewing of this site though, I suggest you change your screen resolution to 1024 x 780 pixels (go to Control Panel and then click on Display). I have expanded the width of this site to 880 pixels to accomodate more content.

New Banner! See the nifty banner on the top of your screen with some of the MTG Kids pics incorporated in it? Anyway, I finished making that one the day before the MTG's 10th Anniversary celebration wherein the new MTG logo was released. So in a sense, that banner up there kind of lived for a day before becoming obsolete. Expect that to be tweaked someday, but probably not in the near future.

New Sections! If you look at the right sidebar, we have the Achievements and the Photo Gallery sections. Both are still far from completion, but I already made them available for your viewing pleasure.

New Blog Team Members! This one is what I am most excited about. I have already received the confirmation of at least four MTG Kids that they would chip in their help to keep this site running (either by writing articles or something else). I shall introduce them one at a time when I post their debut articles. To those who are interested to contribute on this site and become members of our blog team, e-mail me at mtgkids@yahoo.com.

More Updates to come! This site is not yet in its final form. There are still a few minor tweaks in the offing. Among them of course, are the completion of the Achievements and Photo Gallery sections. Plus, I have to bring back the Archives section among others. But aside from those, just wait for one major addition on this website that will allow more inter-action among MTG Kids, probably by New Year. And speaking of New Year, one of my resolutions would be to write Training Day more frequently (that's my personal column in this site).

So that's it. I shall not make you wait any longer. Happy viewing and advanced Merry Christmas!
