4th Ateneo Mathematics Olympiad

By: Carlo Nerecena
Last Update: January 16, 2005

This January and February 2006, the Mathematics Trainers' Guild would be assembling some of its best students once again, to compete under a highly unique contest format that is bound to challenge the skills of these MTG Kids.

But this time around, they don't have to go abroad in order to do so.

For the second year in a row, the MTG is going to compete as a guest participant in the Ateneo Mathematics Olympiad. Now on its fourth year, this annual mathematics competition is the brainchild of no less than Ateneo President Fr. Bienvenido P. Nebres. It used to be just a school-wide competition until last year, when AMO organizers Fr. Nebres and Dr. Queena Lee Chua invited the MTG to send in a guest delegation.

And just like last year, MTG Kids Online would be updating you with the latest news leading to and during this special event. So stay tuned.
