The 2006 MTG Philippine Delegates to International Mathematics Competitions for Elementary

For the 11th straight year, the Mathematics Trainers' Guild has scoured the whole Philippines in search for its best young mathematical minds, in order to develop their talents and later on, have them represent our country in international math competitions. And at the culmination of this intense eight-month long process at the MTG Young Mathematician's Intensive In-House Training Program in Iloilo City last April 2 to 6, 73 math wizards have proven themselves to be a cut above the rest. They have impressively displayed their skill and potential, and would now be given the opportunity to become a Philippine representative to international math contests abroad.

Here now are the 2006 MTG Philippine Delegates to International Mathematics Competitions:



In addition to the 73 listed, 27 students were also named as alternates. If ever one of the official delegates would not be able to compete abroad or if additional slots would be given to the Philippines in competitions, then new representatives would be chosen from this pool:
