A New Schoolyear, A New Facelift

Training Day

Good day and welcome back to Training Day!

By now, you've most probably seen that MTG Kids Online has once again gotten a facelift. But this time, the changes are a bit more significant. I've removed all the wrinkles, lengthened the nose a bit, thinned down the eyebrows, and...oops. Wrong facelift.

What I am talking about are the changes I've made regarding the color scheme, the banner, and the layout, among other things, giving MTGKO a look that is entirely different from what it looked like ever before.

Nice, eh?

And all the changes I've made are for the better, I suppose. I think that many of you might agree with me that the ol' white text on dark blue background was kind of hard on the eye. So I changed that to a mellower black-on-beige combination. The banner and all the other buttons from previous configuration seemed to occupy a lot of space. So I changed them as well, and opted for less space-consuming designs. Finally, there's the revamped layout which is what I like the most among the modifications I've done. Now, the front page easily gives you access to whatever type of information you need from this website.

All in all, I am very much happy with how MTGKO turned out. Especially now, since the version of this site that we have now is what I imagined it should look like when I started the whole thing. Granted, a few modifications will be made here and there. But apart from that, what MTGKO looks like now is most probably what it would look like from here on.

I guess that should wrap up my Training Day return entry. Hopefully, you are all enjoying this new face of MTGKO as much as I do. Anyway, regular math stuff writing returns starting my next entry, which is hopefully within a week or two.

Goodbye!

PS. Just so all of you know, I'm planning on updating MTGKO every weekend from now on. I hope it would work out. =P
